A late effort from Alim Ozturk rescued a point for Hearts as they drew 1-1 with Hibernian in the Edinburgh derby this afternoon.
Dominique Malonga came close to opening the scoring on 23 minutes when he put the ball wide, while Scott Allan's long-range effort flashed past the post shortly before the half-hour mark.
However, Malonga was not to be denied at the second attempt, scoring on the cusp of half time when he profited from a goalmouth scramble to turn the ball home.
The striker almost started the second half how he ended the first, but his header dropped just wide a minute after the restart.
The visitors were forced to play the final 12 minutes with a man fewer after Callum Paterson was shown a straight red card for a poor tackle on Malonga.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Ozturk hit a long-range effort to even things up and earn a share of the spoils for Scottish Championship leaders Hearts.
