Ian Bennett leaves Huddersfield Town for Nottingham Forest

Ian Bennett leaves his role as Huddersfield Town academy goalkeeping coach to take up a similar role with Nottingham Forest's Under-21s.

Ian Bennett has left his role as Huddersfield Town's academy goalkeeping coach to become Under-21s goalkeeping coach at Nottingham Forest.

Bennett, now 43, moved into the role with Huddersfield after hanging up his gloves last year following four years with the Terriers.

"The five years I have spent at Huddersfield Town as a player, and more recently a coach, have been brilliant," Bennett told the club website.

"I have had the pleasure of working with a fantastic set of people and the friendships formed over the years have made this a very difficult decision.

"I would like to wish Huddersfield Town every success and thank everyone at the club for their support over the years."

Bennett made a total of 74 appearances for Huddersfield as a player.
