Craig Levein has admitted that he is excited by the prospect of seeing Jordan Rhodes continue his international career.
The Scotland manager gave Rhodes his debut against Cyprus in November of last year and has revealed that the Huddersfield Town striker will be given another chance to impress when his side face Australia next Wednesday.
"Jordan will play at least half an hour of the game and we will see how it goes. I'm excited by him," Levein said.
"He has been involved once, I hoped to give him more time over in Cyprus but couldn't quite manage that and I'm looking forward to him training with us and getting some game time."
Steven Naismith will also return for Scotland against Australia after recovering from a knee injury.
