Mauro Icardi has officially put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Inter Milan.
Towards the end of last month, it was reported that the Argentine was 'on the verge' of signing a new deal with Inter, whom he has represented since the start of the 2013-14 campaign.
Via a statement on their official website, Inter have now confirmed the new contract, which has committed the striker's future to the San Siro outfit until the summer of 2021.
"FC Internazionale is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached to extend Mauro Icardi's contract until 30 June 2021," read the statement.
Arsenal and Napoli both reportedly tried to sign the 23-year-old, who has scored six times in nine appearances for Inter this season, in the recent summer transfer window.
