Wanda Nara - the wife and agent of Mauro Icardi - has suggested that the striker could spend another season at Inter Milan.
Having fallen out of favour at San Siro, the Argentina international has been heavily linked with an exit before the end of the summer transfer window.
Each of Juventus, Napoli and Monaco have been credited with an interest in the forward, who had seemingly been replaced by Romelu Lukaku.
However, his representative Nara has hinted at a significant development, accompanying a photo on Instagram with fellow wives and girlfriends of the club's players with a caption of 'Another year together'.
Inter have also moved to hand Icardi the number seven shirt ahead of the start of the new Serie A campaign.
