Ipswich Town have made their first signing of the summer by agreeing to acquire Josh Yorwerth from Cardiff City.
The 20-year-old defender will join the Tractor Boys on July 1 following the expiration of his Cardiff contract. He has signed a two-year contract with the Suffolk side, who have the option to extend it to three years.
Yorwerth had been on an extended trial with Ipswich from Cardiff, turning out several times for the Blues' Under-21 development side.
The defender, who is yet to feature in a senior game, also recently made his debut at Under-21 level for Wales.
