Kwadwo Asamoah "out for around three months"

A knee injury is likely to rule Juventus's Kwadwo Asamoah out of action until February.

Juventus could potentially have to make do without the services of Kwadwo Asamoah for "three months".

It was recently confirmed that the Ghana international would undergo surgery on his left knee, having picked up the injury at the end of October.

When asked how long the 25-year-old would be sidelined for, Juve head coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted that he may not return to action until February.

"I think he'll be out for around three months, but that will be assessed as we go," he told reporters.

As a result, Asamoah will miss January's Africa Cup of Nations.
