Jonny Howson has admitted that the opportunity to play Premier League football was a major factor behind his decision to join Norwich City from Leeds United.
The 23-year-old completed his move to the Canaries earlier today following a six-year stint with his boyhood club.
"I'm very excited," he told the club's official website. "It's every player's dream to come and play in the best league in the world and I have got a chance now to do that.
"I first found out about the news sometime last week. I'm very excited and looking forward to getting started now."
Howson has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Carrow Road.
