Leeds United have reportedly identified Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo as a potential summer signing.
Having missed out on promotion to the Premier League, boss Marcelo Bielsa is looking to make significant changes to his first-team squad at Elland Road.
The Argentine's transfer budget is expected to be boosted from the money brought in from the sale of Jack Clarke, who is on the brink of signing for Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Imperio, Bielsa is prepared to spend some of those funds on Caicedo, a former player of Premier League champions Manchester City.
The 30-year-old contributed a total of nine goals from 33 outings in Serie A and the Europa League last season, meaning that Lazio may demand a significant fee for the Ecuador international.
Leeds are also looking to sign Man City midfielder Jack Harrison and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa.
