Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for both Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday.
Batth came through the academy setup at Molineux and has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the first team, but the centre-back has dropped down the pecking order since the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo.
The head coach has acknowledged that the 27-year-old could be allowed to leave on loan, and according to The Mirror, two Championship clubs are in the running for the player.
Leeds are in the market for a new central defender and as well as fitting the bill in terms of having experience at the second tier, Batth may be tempted into a reunion with former teammate Barry Douglas at Elland Road.
However, Batth has previously spent two loan periods at Wednesday during the early stages of his career, with 59 outings being made in all competitions between March 2011 and May 2012.
Batth has not featured in any of Wolves' opening four matches of the season.
