Leicester City are reportedly expecting Besiktas to bid for Islam Slimani once the Turkish champions have sold Cenk Tosun to Everton.
Tosun is believed to be on the verge of joining Everton in a £27m deal, which would leave Besiktas light in the final third of the field.
According to the Leicester Mercury, the former Premier League champions are yet to receive a bid from Besiktas for Slimani, but the Foxes are of the opinion that it is only a matter of time.
Slimani scored eight times in 29 appearances for Leicester last season following a big-money move from Sporting Lisbon, but the 29-year-old has struggled for regular football during the 2017-18 campaign.
The Algerian did score against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on New Year's Day, however, and his stock around Europe is still believed to be high despite a disappointing first half to this season.
