Claudio Ranieri: 'Jamie Vardy committed to Leicester City'

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri insists that Jamie Vardy will not be affected by reports linking him with a move away from the Foxes.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has insisted that forward Jamie Vardy will not be affected by speculation linking him with other teams.

The 28-year-old England international has been linked with Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur after scoring 10 goals for the Foxes already this season.

However, Ranieri has stated that he cannot question the commitment of the former Fleetwood Town man.

When asked if Vardy would be affected by the transfer talk, Ranieri told talkSPORT: "No. I believe Jamie is very, very focused on us.

"He enjoys [playing] with us. He looks at Leicester and the national team - that's it."

Vardy has played four times for England.
