Liverpool could field a strong side against Brighton & Hove Albion when the two face off at Anfield in the FA Cup fifth round.

Liverpool hope to continue their encouraging cup run with a fifth-round victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Kenny Dalglish is likely to start a strong team at Anfield, with skipper Steven Gerrard, Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez all in contention to start for the Reds. This would mark the first time that the trio will have played alongside one another.

Jamie Carragher could start at the heart of the defence, with Martin Skrtl and Daniel Agger given a rest for the fixture on Merseyside.

Gus Poyet will be unable to call on injured duo Gary Dicker and Tommy Elphick, while Matt Sparrow is ruled out for the final game of his three-match ban.
