Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has reportedly stepped up his efforts to return from a calf injury after the international break.
The Brazil international has been absent from the first-team picture since suffering the issue during the first half of the opening Premier League fixture of the season against Norwich City.
However, manager Jurgen Klopp has provided frequent updates on the stopper's condition, suggesting that he may be in line to feature later in October.
According to ESPN, Alisson is now taking part in extra training sessions in order to prove his fitness ahead of the trip to Manchester United on October 20.
While Adrian has impressed during his time on the sidelines, Alisson may be preferred to the Spaniard once he is considered ready to feature in the squad.
The Merseyside giants also play games against Genk, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal before the end of the month.
