Jordan Henderson: 'We have to maintain our form'

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson feels that his side must maintain their recent good form to keep up their late push for the Premier League title.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson believes that his side must keep up their recent high standards to maintain their push for the Premier League title.

Brendan Rodgers's side put six past Cardiff City after falling behind twice in their win over the Bluebirds on Saturday to keep the pressure on Chelsea at the top of the table.

Henderson told the club's official website: "Sometimes you're going to concede goals - it's about how you react to that. We reacted really well at Cardiff; we still kept passing the ball and moving it.

"I felt as though as the game went on, we kept getting better and scored some good goals. It was very pleasing - and we've got to take that into these last eight games."

The Reds take on Sunderland on Wednesday at Anfield.
