Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has hailed strike partner Daniel Sturridge as "an unbelievable player".
Sturridge scored 21 goals last season to finish second in the scoring charts to Suarez, who netted 31 in the Premier League, and the Uruguay international was full of praise for his teammate.
Speaking to the club's official TV station, the South American said: "I think he's an unbelievable player, since he joined [from Chelsea in January 2012], he's been spectacular.
"He's know what to expect, which is to play for the team and help his teammates, and that is something we all keep in our minds, and if we all keep doing what we're doing now, we'll be successful."
Meanwhile, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher thinks that both Sturridge and Suarez could have a "major impact" at the World Cup.
