Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to step up their search for a new striker and bid for Liverpool marksman Luis Suarez.
New Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is busy making plans for his arrival in Munich this summer and is thought to have earmarked Suarez as a potential acquisition.
The Uruguayan's agent is Pep's brother Pere Guardiola, and Bayern are ready to use that situation to their advantage this summer to make a second marquee capture, according to the Metro.
Liverpool have repeatedly insisted that Suarez is not for sale, despite internal frustration over the forward's conduct as he serves a 10-match ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic.
Bayern have already signed Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze for a fee of £32m as Guardiola prepares to take the reins at the Allianz Arena.
Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has also been heavily linked with a move to the treble chasers, with his contract running out in just over 12 months.
