Fulham's Fabio Carvalho is reportedly undergoing his Liverpool medical after agreeing a five-year deal with the club.

Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Liverpool ahead of a late deadline day switch and is now undergoing his medical with the Reds.

The 19-year-old has been on the Reds' radar after enjoying a breakthrough season with the Cottagers, netting seven goals and assisting four more in 18 Championship appearances.

Liverpool reportedly agreed a fee with Fulham for Carvalho late on Monday, with Jurgen Klopp's side facing a race against time to get a deal done before the 11pm deadline.

Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Carvalho is set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Liverpool and is currently undergoing his Reds medical.

Romano adds that Fulham will retain Carvalho's services on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Cottagers well-placed to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

The former England Under-18 international has 17 goals and 13 assists to his name from 43 games in a Fulham shirt and struck his first Premier League goal against Southampton in May 2021.
