New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing Andrea Ranocchia, according to reports.
Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Klopp was keen on signing the Inter Milan defender during his time as Borussia Dortmund manager, and now wants to bring the 27-year-old to Anfield.
Ranocchia captained Inter last season, but has fallen down the pecking order under Roberto Mancini.
Liverpool rivals Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace have all been linked with a move for the Italy international.
