Roma have apparently joined the Italian clubs interested in signing Liverpool defender Glen Johnson.
The England international is out of contract in the summer and talks over a new deal at Anfield have stalled.
Juventus have also been linked with a move for the right-back, but according to The Mirror, Roma have moved to the head of the queue and are preparing a £2m January move.
Should Johnson arrive at Roma, he would join former England teammate Ashley Cole at the club.
