Sadio Mane does not want to remain at Liverpool for the rest of his career, according to Senegal teammate Keita Balde.

Keita Balde has claimed that fellow Senegal international Sadio Mane does not want to stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career.

The 28-year-old is well on his way to a legendary career at Anfield, contributing 77 goals from 161 appearances and having won last season's Champions League.

However, despite playing a significant part in helping the Merseyside giants to the brink of the Premier League title, Balde has hinted that his compatriot will want to take on another challenge in the future, potentially at Real Madrid.

Speaking to AS, the Monaco winger said: "It depends on many things. I don't know what his decision is. In a year or two, you may want to change.

"I don't think he wants to be there forever. He is a smart boy and he knows what is good for him and what he has to do. But in Madrid they are giving out many names."

Mane has a contract with Liverpool until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
