Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha as a possible transfer target this summer.
Hugo Lloris is currently the undisputed number one and captain for Spurs, but the club are beginning to look at long-term replacements for the France international given that he is now 32 years old.
Italian outlet Il Messaggero claims that Strakosha is one of the names on Tottenham's radar and that they have tracked the 24-year-old's progress this season.
However, the price tag could be a stumbling block, with Lazio president Claudio Lotito understood to want at least €40m (£34.2m) for Strakosha.
Spurs would be unwilling to pay such a fee for a player who would begin his Spurs career as a backup to Lloris, who has offered no suggestions that he is considering his future at the club yet.
Liverpool were also linked with Strakosha last summer and reportedly saw a €30m (£25.7m) bid rejected by Lazio.
