Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has insisted that he is in no rush to sign a contract extension with the club.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a new long-term deal at Anfield following a string of impressive displays last season.
However, the England international claims that he is just happy to be playing for the Merseysiders.
"I don't know anything about a new contract," Sterling is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"I am just here, playing football, and if the manager comes to me with a new deal, then that's his decision, but I'm not in any rush at all. I am happy to just be playing football."
Sterling scored 10 goals in 38 games for Liverpool last season.
