Olympiacos defender Kostas Tsimikas is reportedly heading for Liverpool in a £11.75m deal.
The speculation surrounding the 24-year-old's future has gathered pace in recent days, with both Liverpool and Leicester City said to be interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
However, according to Goal, Jurgen Klopp's side have won the race for the Greece international, who is set to arrive at Anfield as back-up to Andrew Robertson.
Tsimikas is expected to undergo a medical with the English champions next week before penning a long-term contract.
The left-back came through the youth system at Olympiacos and has made 84 appearances for the Greek giants in all competitions, including 45 in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign.
Liverpool had previously been strongly linked with a move for Norwich City's Jamal Lewis but were unable to come to an agreement with the Canaries over a transfer fee.
