Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola brings Yaya Toure and Gabriel Jesus into his squad for the Champions League knockout stages.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has been restored to the club's Champions League squad for the knockout stages.

Toure was left out of Pep Guardiola's initial roster for the group stages, with the 33-year-old being frozen out by the Spaniard during the opening months of his reign.

However, he has since returned to the first team and is included in the latest European squad in place of Ilkay Gundogan, who is expected to miss the rest of the season through injury.

January arrival Gabriel Jesus, who scored his first goal of the club during Wednesday's 4-0 rout of West Ham United, is also drafted into the squad in place of Kelechi Iheanacho, who remains eligible as a player named on the 'B' list.

City, who reached the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history last season, will face AS Monaco in the last 16.
