Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini remains confident of winning the Premier League title despite his side falling seven points off the pace.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that his side can win the Premier League title this season.

City slipped to seven points behind leaders Manchester United with a 1-0 away defeat to Sunderland on Wednesday.

"United score a lot of goals, but they also concede more than us," BBC Sport quotes the Italian as saying.

"It depends on us because the season is long and we can recover, no problem, but we need to change something in our team because we cannot continue like this."

City are away at Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.
