Jesus Navas: 'Everyone will support Manuel Pellegrini'

Manchester City's Jesus Navas says that everything he knows about new manager Manuel Pellegrini is positive.

Jesus Navas has said that everyone at Manchester City will support newly-appointed manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The 27-year-old, who signed for the club earlier this week, has faced Pellegrini's sides on numerous occasions in La Liga.

The Spain international told Man City's website: "Everything I know about him is positive. Every team he coaches plays well, and everyone in the city will support him.

"He's important because he will help the team and we all know the importance of a good manager and a good person that we trust. I think [his teams are good] defensively as well."

Pellegrini was confirmed as Roberto Mancini's successor yesterday.
