Manuel Pellegrini coy on Joe Hart return

Manuel Pellegrini refuses to reveal whether Joe Hart will return to the Manchester City starting XI.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to confirm whether Joe Hart will return to the starting lineup for Sunday's home clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Hart has had to sit on the bench after some poor performances last month, but Pellegrini said that he was pleased with the goalkeeper's performance for England against Germany.

"I don't know [if he will start]," BBC Sport quotes Pellegrini as saying. "We will see tomorrow the starting XI.

"It was very important for him to play with England. It was an important game for England against Germany, it is a good test. I think he did very well."

City are currently eighth in the Premier League, but have a 100% home record so far.
