Manuel Pellegrini has refused to confirm whether or not he will still be in charge of Manchester City next season.
The Chilean is thought to be on borrowed time at Eastlands as City approach the end of a trophyless season, having won the Capital One Cup and Premier League last term.
The way in which the Sky Blues - who sit 13 points behind champions Chelsea - surrendered their league title is bound to irk the club's hierarchy, but Pellegrini refused to be drawn on the matter.
When asked by Sky Sports News if he remains the right man for the job, he said: "I do not want to answer that question," following the 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 61-year-old replaced Roberto Mancini at the Etihad in 2013.
