Pablo Zabaleta claims that Manchester City's momentum is "incredible".

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has said that the club's momentum is "incredible" as they close in on the Premier League title.

The Citizens, who are coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Manchester United, make the trip to the Sports Direct Arena to face in-form Newcastle United this afternoon. However, Zabaleta insists that his side have more than enough incentive to get the job done.

"I think the momentum within our team is incredible," he said. "Our confidence has never been higher.

"We have all the incentive we need. We are well aware that if we lose or draw, United can overtake us. We know what is at stake.

"St James' Park is the perfect setting for a game of this magnitude. It is a great stadium."

Roberto Mancini's side lead the league on goal difference with two games to go.
