Manchester City winger Omar Elabdellaoui has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a season-long loan in order to gain first-team experience.
The young Norwegian recently signed a new two-year deal with City, and will now spend the season in the Eredivisie.
"It's an exciting challenge for me and it gives me the opportunity to play regular first-team football that will obviously benefit me and hopefully City as well in the long term," Elabdellaoui told the club's official website.
"I was very happy to agree a new contract with City so everything is moving in the right direction. I'm just going to do my best for Feyenoord and enjoy my time in the Eredivisie."
Elabdellaoui has yet to make his debut for the Premier League champions.
