Father: 'Leroy Sane could yet reject Manchester City'

Leroy Sane's father insists that the Schalke 04 has not agreed to join Manchester City and could still move to either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.

Schalke 04 attacker Leroy Sane could still join Real Madrid or Bayern Munich this summer ahead of Manchester City, according to the German's father Souleymane Sane.

Man City are believed to be the strong favourites for the 20-year-old, with some reports claiming that the youngster has already agreed a four-year deal with the Premier League club.

However, the German international's father has claimed that 'a deal has still not been struck' and hinted that his son could yet play his football at the Bernabeu or the Allianz Arena next season.

"A deal hasn't been struck with anyone and both Madrid and Bayern Munich continue to present opportunities," he told Sky Sport Deutschland.

Sane was part of the Germany squad that reached the final four of Euro 2016.
