Pep Guardiola reportedly has no intention to leave Manchester City at the end of this season and plans to see out the final 18 months of his contract at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola will reportedly not leave Manchester City at the end of this season and plans to see out the final 18 months of his contract at the Etihad.

Pressure on the Catalan's side increased following a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday which leaves the Premier League champions nine points behind Jurgen Klopp's men.

It has been claimed that Guardiola is unlikely to remain at the club beyond this season should he fail to secure a third consecutive Premier League title.

According to The Times, however, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has no interest in leaving the club before his contract expires.

The 48-year-old has set the benchmark in the Premier League over the past two campaigns, accumulating totals of 100 and 98 points in respective seasons.
