Joe Hart finalises move to Torino from Manchester City on season-long loan

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart finalises a move to Torino on a season-long loan.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has completed a move to Serie A club Torino on a season-long loan.

The England international flew to Turin yesterday to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical.

It was confirmed by both his parent club and Torino today that Hart, who has spent the last decade at City, will play the rest of the season in Italy.

"Suddenly my career has undergone a change, I interpreted it as a sign of destiny," Hart told the Italian club's official website. "Torino's offer came in the right moment, with the right manner. I am very happy to be able to compete in a beautiful and difficult league like Serie A."

President Urbano Cairo said: "Joe Hart is a goalkeeper of international level, with considerable experience gained both with Manchester City and the England national side, where among other things he made his debut very young, at age 21."

City manager Pep Guardiola made it clear that Hart was no longer first choice at the Etihad Stadium when he promoted Wilfredo Caballero and clinched the signing of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.

During his 10 years at City, Hart has won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup.
