Manchester City have reportedly decided to offer a new contract to striker Gabriel Jesus.
In January, Jesus penned a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Premier League giants, but the Brazilian's contribution since his arrival appears to have already convinced the club's hierarchy to show a bigger commitment to the 20-year-old.
According to the Daily Mail, City want to hand Jesus a pay rise of £30,000, taking his overall wages to £100,000 per week, after netting 14 goals in 20 Premier League appearances.
Jesus has added just one strike in his last five outings in all competitions, but it has been suggested that the versatile attacker has done more than enough to impress head coach Pep Guardiola.
Cristiano Simoes - Jesus's agent - has allegedly flown to Manchester to open negotiations with the club, who currently sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
