Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Real Madrid.
Sterling has established himself as one of Pep Guardiola's key men at the Etihad Stadium, with 18 goals being scored from 30 appearances in all competitions this season.
However, according to Don Balon, the form of the 23-year-old has attracted the attention of Zinedine Zidane, who has endured a disappointing few months at the Bernabeu.
While Real can still successfully defend their Champions League crown, their hold of the La Liga title is all but over with 19 points separating Zidane's side to leaders Barcelona.
Real and Zidane are aware that they would not be successful with any offer during the January transfer window, but an approach could be made during the summer.
Sterling has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, leaving City in a position where they will already be considering fresh terms for the England international.
