Manchester City are reportedly one of five Premier League clubs vying for the signature of highly-rated Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno.
The 21-year-old defender, who is valued at around £30m, was watched by City's sporting director Txiki Begiristain as his Sevilla side took on Porto in the Europa League on Thursday, the Daily Star claims.
However, the Blues are thought to face competition for the left-back from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, with Moreno viewed a viable alternative to in-demand England international Luke Shaw.
The youngster is contracted to the La Liga club for another four years and Sevilla are believed to be keen to holding out for £30m for the player.
Last month, Real Madrid were linked with a deal for Moreno as part of a reported double swoop that included Chelsea's Ashley Cole moving to the Bernabeu.
