Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez affirms that he 'loves' the club amid talk of a possible move to Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has insisted that he is happy at the club amid talk of a possible summer exit.

The former Leicester City man often falls victim to Pep Guardiola's policy of rotation, but he has made a positive impression this term with 11 goals and seven assists across all competitions.

Mahrez's strong form throughout the season has seen him linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but the 30-year-old was quick to downplay any talk of an exit before City's clash with PSG in the Champions League semi-finals.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Mahrez said: "I don't really think about this to be honest. I'm very good here at Man City.

"I love the club, I love everything around, I love the city so I'm just concentrating on the team and trying to win things and we will see."

Mahrez's existing deal at the Etihad is due to expire in 2023, and he boasts 36 goals and 35 assists for the Citizens since arriving from Leicester in 2018.
