Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane has been left out of Germany's 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup.
The 22-year-old had an outstanding 2017-18 campaign for the Premier League champions, scoring 14 times and registering 19 assists in all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side.
Sane has been left out of the final 23-man selection, however, with Julian Brandt and fit-again Marco Reus preferred.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is included after making his comeback from injury against Austria at the weekend, while Hertha Berlin defender Marvin Plattenhardt also survives the cut.
World champions Germany will open their 2018 World Cup campaign against Mexico on June 17, before also taking on Sweden and South Korea in the group stage of the competition.
