Barcelona will reportedly have to secure Champions League football for next season in order to stand a chance of signing Erling Braut Haaland.
The Catalan giants are believed to be one of a number of clubs interested in the 21-year-old, who will allegedly have a £63m release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract next summer.
However, according to Sport, the Norway international will only consider a move to Camp Nou if the club manage to secure Champions League football for the 2022-23 campaign.
Xavi's side, who failed to advance from the group stage of this season's European Cup, are currently eighth in La Liga, five points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also believed to be in the running for Haaland's signature.
The striker has again been in impressive form for BVB during the current season, finding the back of the net on 19 occasions in 15 appearances, in addition to contributing five assists.
