Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the Premier League clash with Manchester United on February 17.

After Saturday's 2-2 draw with Leicester City, Chelsea now face a two-week break from action ahead of the Premier League meeting with Manchester United.

The top-flight fixtures will be staggered up to and including February 17, with Chelsea and United the last two teams to fulfil their duties.

The break arguably comes at the right time for the Blues, who will be hoping to remain competitive in three competitions during the final three months of the campaign.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash at Stamford Bridge.

Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: Unknown

Loftus-Cheek ruptured his Achilles tendon while representing Chelsea in a post-season friendly ahead of the 2019 Europa League final. While the academy graduate is making progress, there is no prospect of a first-team return in the coming weeks.

Christian Pulisic
