Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that Robin van Persie is fit to face Cambridge United in the FA Cup tomorrow evening.
The Netherlands international, who has scored eight goals so far this campaign, sat out the Red Devils' 2-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers last weekend due to a foot injury.
However, Van Gaal will be able to call on the fit-again striker, along with Luke Shaw who has also recovered from a knock in time for the trip to Abbey Stadium.
"We have to wait until training but Ashley Young, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans are out for sure," the United boss told reporters. "Robin van Persie is available, Luke Shaw is also available."
Van Gaal refused to reveal whether January recruit Victor Valdes would start, however, claiming that a decision would be made shortly before kickoff.
He added: "I don't want to say anything about my lineup until three quarters of an hour before the game."
