The Football Association receive no complaint from referee Mike Dean regarding the conduct of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Football Association have received no complaint from referee Mike Dean regarding the conduct of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson during his side's match with Newcastle United.

Ferguson was unhappy with Dean after he made the call to overturn his assistant's decision to disallow a Newcastle goal during their match at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

The Manchester United boss was involved in a heated discussion with both Dean and his assistant when the two teams returned to the pitch for the second half, with Newcastle 2-1 ahead.

However, the Football Association have revealed today that Dean has not made a complaint about Ferguson's conduct.

Manchester United won the game 4-3, thanks to a last-minute goal from Javier Hernandez.
