Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has revealed that he and his teammates are looking forward to their International Champions Cup final showdown with Manchester United.
The Premier League rivals meet at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami tonight (Monday) to battle it out for the pre-season trophy.
Johnson, who was part of the England squad at the World Cup, hopes that the two sides can put on a exciting encounter for the fans watching across the world.
"When you're at a top club, you need to be playing the best teams because they're the ones you're going to be fighting with throughout the season. It has been a fantastic pre-season," he told the club's official website.
"It will be great for the fans and we're certainly looking forward to it. They're a massive club as well so I'm sure the fans will turn up and make it a good night."
Liverpool beat United both times last season when they met in the Premier League.
