Manchester United are reportedly '80% certain' to play a pre-season friendly against rivals Manchester City in China this summer.
Respective chief executives Ed Woodward and Ferran Soriano are believed to have held discussions regarding the game during a meeting at London's Dorchester Hotel yesterday afternoon.
It was initially claimed that the conversation, which also included representatives of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, was centred around a breakaway European Super League.
However, that has since been denied, with the Manchester Evening News having now suggested that a clash between the city's two clubs in the International Champions Cup was at the top of the agenda.
While the deal is yet to be finalised, confirmation is expected in the near future.
