Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag refused to engage when asked about the club's decision on Mason Greenwood during his press conference on Friday afternoon.
The Dutchman spoke to the media ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest, and he was quizzed on the club's call to end Greenwood's time at Old Trafford.
However, Ten Hag said that he only wanted to focus on the players available to him, as he looks to help the team bounce back from their 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
"Look, we are not where we want to be with our team, I have a lot of work and a lot of focus on my team, so I focus on the players who are available," the head coach told reporters.

"I only have statements about our performance, our squad, where we have to improve because it's clear, we have to improve. I have to put every effort in to get the team to perform."
When asked about Greenwood later in the press conference, he said: "I focus on the current squad and the players available.
"Once again, what Manchester United fans expect is a winning Manchester United and I'm responsible for that and I have to put all my effort and all my focus and make us play better than we do now."
On Monday, the 20-time English champions announced that the decision had been made for Greenwood to leave the club this summer.
The 21-year-old's contract, which has another two years left to run, has not been terminated, but the Red Devils are working to find him a new club to continue his career.

In January 2022, following accusations from a woman, Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, and he was then further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.
The Englishman was also facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but the charges were dropped in February.
Man United had allegedly initially been looking to bring Greenwood back into their squad before reversing their decision due to the strong backlash that arrived.
A number of clubs are currently being linked with the Red Devils academy product, but it is believed that he will not be moving to the Saudi Pro League despite the recent reports surrounding a potential switch to Saudi Arabia.
