Manchester United will reportedly have to make do without the services of Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic for this afternoon's clash away at Cardiff City.
Last season's leading goalscorer Van Persie recently pulled out of the Netherlands' two international matches against Colombia and Japan in a bid to be fit for United.
However, he did not train with his teammates yesterday afternoon and was not part of the squad that flew to Wales, according to Goal.com.
Captain Vidic did take part in training after he suffered concussion during the 1-0 win over Arsenal a fortnight ago, but it is believed that manager David Moyes will save him for Wednesday's Champions League group fixture against Bayer Leverkusen.
Phil Jones and Michael Carrick have already been ruled out of the match at the Cardiff City Stadium.
