Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Crystal Palace could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Crystal Palace could be without up to three players for Saturday evening's Premier League clash with Manchester United at Selhurst Park.

Chadi Riad (knee) and Matheus Franca (broken rib) are both long-term injury absentees, while Trevoh Chalobah - a loan signing from Chelsea - is set to have an abdominal issue that ruled him out of last weekend's 2-2 draw with Leicester City assessed ahead of kickoff.

Oliver Glasner named a strong starting lineup for Tuesday's 2-1 victory at Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Cup third round, and the Austrian boss is not expected to make too many changes to his first XI on Saturday.

Summer signing Maxence Lacroix has started Palace's last two matches and is set to retain his place in the back three next to captain Marc Guehi, while Nathaniel Clyne and Chris Richards battle for the third centre-back spot.

Adam Wharton and Cheick Doucoure were both rested in midweek, but they are expected to be recalled in midfield at the expense of Daichi Kamada and Jefferson Lerma.

Kamada could move further forward into the front three, but Glasner may instead stick with attacking trio Eberechi Eze, Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Philippe Mateta, who have scored all four of Palace's goal combined across their last two matches.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup: Henderson; Clyne, Guehi, Lacroix; Munoz, Wharton, Doucoure, Mitchell; Eze; Nketiah, Mateta
