Will Keane netted five goals as Manchester United's Under-21 side recorded a 7-0 victory over their Norwich City counterparts at Old Trafford this evening.
The United second string's starting lineup contained a number of players that have represented the first team this season, including Memphis Depay, Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira.
However, it was 23-year-old centre-forward Keane that scored the first three goals of the night, two of which were set up by £25m summer signing Depay.
Pereira then made it 4-0 from the penalty spot, before Keane got his fourth of the game with a chipped effort in the 61st minute.
Defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah then got in on the act with his first goal of the season, with the scoring then being completed by the clinical Keane 14 minutes from time.
The only negative for watching first-team manager Louis van Gaal was the knee injury suffered by Januzaj, who limped off before the break.
