Dayot Upamecano's agent Volker Struth has suggested that the RB Leipzig defender will not leave the club this summer due to the financial implications caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Arsenal and Manchester United are among the sides to have been linked with the 21-year-old following an impressive campaign for Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
The German outfit have warned suitors off making an approach for Upamecano, however, and the centre-back's agent has now cast further doubt on a move away from the Red Bull Arena.
"I don't believe in large transfers this summer and I think Upamecano is a player who will demand a large fee. So the statement has already been made," he told Sport 1.
It has previously been claimed that Leipzig are looking to receive £52m for Upamecano, who has also been touted as a target for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
